Profile:
Collin Steward Tham holds an MA in
Linguistics from North Eastern Hill University
(NEHU), which falls under the governing body of the Union Grants Commission (UGC),
New Delhi, with a specialization in Psycholinguistics and Neuro Linguistics (NLP).
Collin was certified by an International body from IBM Global Services as a
linguistics trainer. He was given the opportunity to conduct the prestigious 7 Cultural
Factors Training for the London office as part of the communications team for
the E-bookers Master Training program.
The decision to move into Training and
Development started with Wipro Spectramind as a Junior Trainer in the year
2000.
As a teacher-facilitator, Collin is
particularly interested in NLP and Leadership Development (OD) because
understanding behavior is critical to understanding learner ability and to
identifying skills and competencies. His current research interest is
Neurolinguistics and Cognitive Psychology.
In his spare time, Collin loves reading and
listening to music, and he originally hails from the Scotland of the East,
“Shillong Khasi Hills,” in northeastern India.
