Profile:
Edgar is a lecturer of English as a Foreign
Language at Shantou University. He received an MA in Education from Tecnológico
de Monterrey and a BA in English Language Teaching from the Universidad Autónoma
de Sinaloa, Mexico. His previous
teaching experience includes teaching at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinalo and
at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Due to his academic background, he has
effectively tied modern ICT resources to language teaching, making him a strong
advocate in the implementation of current online applications to enrich English
language learning environments. Recently, he has been exploring and evaluating
different virtual learning environments: online platforms where students and
teachers interact, access course materials, develop and submit assignments.
He enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends, and travelling. He is married to a
gorgeous woman, Cecy, and has 2 beautiful children who are currently living in
Mexico.
