Profile:

Louise holds a BA degree in Society, Culture and Media as well as an MA degree in International Relations from the University of East Anglia. After spending nine years in the UK, she developed a strong interest in and appreciation of the English language and culture.

During university holidays, she worked as an intern at Guangdong TV, Yangcheng News and BBC. Louise was also a translator for a British company, Brandbank, and a relocation consultant for an American firm, Impact. It was after working as a teaching assistant in the UK that she realized teaching was a passion for her. That was why she came back to Shantou to teach IELTS before settling into Shantou University.

Louise loves watching classic films and football. She also has a great interest in art, cookery and politics.
