I did my BA in Translation at South China
Normal University in Guangzhou. During my undergraduate years, I spent a
semester abroad as an exchange student majoring in English teaching
at the University of Jaen in Spain. After graduation, I went back to my
beloved Spain and obtained an MA in English Literature and Applied
Linguistics at the University of Granada. My international academic
experiences regarding English in different fields have inspired me to
teach English from diverse perspectives. Before joining ELC, I have
worked as an IELTS teacher, assisting students to get their desired
scores.
My philosophy of English teaching is to
cultivate students’ enthusiasm in English by showing them how to combine
the use of English with what interests them and to teach students how
to use English as a tool to explore the world, since English, to me, is a
magic key to open the door to the outside world.
During my time off, I find it relaxing to do yoga, make coffee, drink Chinese Kung Fu tea, and read books.
