Yang Yang received her bachelor degree in
English Language and Literature at Xi’an International Studies
University. She obtained her master degree in Linguistics and Teaching
Chinese as an International Language respectively at The Chinese
University of Hong Kong and The Education University of Hong Kong. After
graduation, Yang Yang worked as a teacher at the Language Center of
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She was teaching Chinese
to speakers of other languages there.
In 2011, Yang Yang began to study a
master program in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages) at SUNY University, at Buffalo in the US. While she was
developing her master studies, she worked as a Chinese teacher at the
Confucius Institute of University at Buffalo. She also had her intern
English teaching at a local school in Buffalo. After graduation, Yang
Yang worked at Shanghai High School International Division then at
Shanghai Lion Han Institute, where she was teaching Chinese to speakers
of other languages and English as well.
