西南师范大学外语系英语语言文学硕士，中山大学人类学博士。1992年7月至今任教于汕头大学外文系， 担任英语文学、比较文学与文化研究等课程教学任务。研究兴趣：英语教学、比较文学，潮汕区域文化。
