Yang Jing is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every student. While she was completing her BA degree at South China Normal University, she studied at Lingnan University in Hong Kong as an exchange student at public expense. In 2021, she earned an MA in Applied Linguistics from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, where she worked in a multicultural environment that emphasizes inclusion. Throughout the year in NTU, she gained a comprehensive understanding of theories and principles on second language acquisition as well as research methodology.
Yang has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful relationships with students and staff. She strives to build student self-esteem and encourages understanding of cultural diversity, gender differences and physical limitations. In the classroom, she creates a cooperative community and models for students the importance of mutual respect and cooperation among all community members.
